Dr. Timothy Williams is an arbitrator, a labor-management facilitator and a professor of labor relations with more than 35 years of experience in the field. He has incorporated his practice under the name NorthWest Resolutions, Inc. NorthWest Resolutions is devoted to building a positive workplace through the resolution of grievances and interest disputes, working to promote labor peace and by facilitating effective labor practices.
Dr. Williams was first listed as a labor arbitrator and fact-finder by the Oregon Employment Relations Board in 1974. Since that time he has been additionally listed on state panels in Washington, Idaho, Montana and California. He is a member of the National Labor Panel of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Since 1974, he has written decisions in over 1000 labor disputes. In 1984 he was accepted into the National Academy of Arbitrators. He is also an experienced commercial arbitrator in the construction industry. As a full-time arbitrator, Dr. Williams handles a substantial number of cases each year including fact-finding, interest arbitration and grievance arbitration.
He is a member of the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA), the National Academy of Arbitrators (NAA), and the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD)
